North Ireland councils Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, are looking for a landscape architect to envision, manufacturer and deliver of parklets, seating and bins across the three boroughs. The team as a minimum should comprise a principal designer, quantity surveyor and a planner.

With prominent religious and industrial heritages, the towns sit close to the bustle of Belfast and host their own parks and attractions. Much of the area is facing regeneration and areas such as Banbridge have already taken part in initiatives to enhance the towns.

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council joined the ‘Chatty Benches’ scheme to provide spaces to combat loneliness as one of these.

Residents have said that they still wish to see more investment in their town centres.

The successful candidate must liaise with stakeholders, prepare technical details, and procure an integrated supply team to deliver the works during the contracted 4 month period, 20 October 2025 to 28 February 2026.
