The coveted golden Pineapples trophies up for grabs

    Festival of Pineapples 24 - 26 February

All shortlisted projects, across 20 categories present live at the Festival of Pineapples 24-26 February 2026 to our panel of judges. Tune in to watch each category digitally on Airmeet.

129 finalists go head-to-head with 10-minutes to present their project to judges, followed by a 10-minute Q&A. Presentations are an opportunity to advocate with supporting materials the contribution their work has or will make to urban life and help create a place where people will thrive.

Launched in 2019 by The Developer in partnership with Design Council, The Pineapples awards are unique in seeking to celebrate great places. In short, we’re looking for places that thrive, where people want to live, work, play, shop or learn.
